Product Introduction

Damping capacitors are used in high voltage DC transmission converter valves. The capacitor is matched with the thyristor to suppress commutation overshoot caused by reverse recovery charge when the thyristor is turned off and to suppress uneven voltage distribution across thyristors.

This product adopts a fully sealed dry-type design. The shell is a stretched aluminum shell, the bushing uses ceramic insulators, the cover is tin-plated brass, and the element is wound with zinc-aluminum composite edge-thickened metallized film. The shell is pressed with a special explosion-proof groove using dedicated equipment, and the bottom has mounting bolts. The product features small size, light weight, strong overcurrent capacity, low loss, and easy installation.
