China Academy of Aerospace Electronics Technology (CAAET)
The China Academy of Aerospace Electronics Technology (CAAET) is a large-scale scientific research and production complex specializing in aerospace electronics technology under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). Headquartered in Beijing, CAAET comprises 18 research institutes, factories, and specialized companies, with three core business sectors: Aerospace Electronics and Information, Unmanned System Equipment, and the Low-Altitude Economy. As the pioneer of China's aerospace inertial technology, aerospace telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) and communication technology, and aerospace microelectronics technology, CAAET serves as CASC's System Engineering Implementation Entity in Aerospace Electronics, Unmanned Systems, and the Low-Altitude Economy.
Building on more than 60 years of technological heritage, CAAET spans the upstream, midstream, and downstream of the lowaltitude economy with an Integrated Full-Industrial-Chain Layout. At the foundation and airborne level, it has independent R&D capabilities from core components to subsystems, supplying flight control systems, mission payloads, propulsion systems, and other key supporting products for a wide range of unmanned systems. At the aircraft and equipment level, it produces the "Feipeng" series of unmanned aerial vehicles and is developing new low-altitude equipment represented by electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. At the information infrastructure level, it is constructing a space-air-ground integrated information support network for communication, navigation, surveillance, and meteorology (CNSM), and developing low-altitude information infrastructure. At the operations and services level, it is vigorously developing modern low-altitude services centered on the "Jiutian" Low-Altitude Intelligent Operating System, low-altitude testing and verification, and low-altitude safety services, forming an integrated solution of "Governance Hub + Infrastructure Foundation + Scenario Applications", and promoting large-scale implementation through vehicles such as smart industrial parks.
Addressing typical scenarios including Low-Altitude Governance, Logistics And Delivery, Inspection And Patrol, Emergency Rescue, And Urban Air Mobility (UAM), CAAET provides government and industry customers with full life-cycle services spanning top-level planning and standard design, equipment supply, infrastructure construction, and operation and maintenance. It empowers the low-altitude economy with aerospace technology systems, helps the industry advance from pilot exploration to systematic development, and shares new opportunities in low-altitude economy growth with domestic and international partners.
CAAET boasts strong talent and technological capabilities, with research and technical personnel accounting for more than half of its total workforce, including 3 Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It has received over 1,000 Major National Awards and holds more than 1,000 Domestic And International Patents, providing solid talent and technological support for the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy.
