We manufacture both surface mount and conventional through-hole types. We specialize in ultra-fast turnaround of large production quantities. We understand that in many industries, product lifecycles are much too short for long component lead times. So instead of deliveries 12, 16 or even 20 weeks from now, we offer you quantity in six weeks — and often less. We frequently fill orders for 100,000 pieces from stock on hand! As we say often, “Others promise we ACT!”

Our product applications are diverse, and so are our customers. The plane you took on your last trip, whether it was a Boeing or an Airbus, was likely developed with the help of Astro-Med data recorders. We are the leader in this field. The sleep study which someone you know recently had may have been conducted in a sleep clinic or hospital equipped with one of our PSG systems. We are one of the worlds major suppliers of sleep systems and other neurophysiological monitoring systems. The bottle of spring water you picked up today may have an attractive color label produced by one of our digital color label printers. We are the world leader in short run label printing applications. All Astro-Med products are derived from one underlying technology and manufactured in one location, but are marketed via three different sales and marketing staffs. By sharing our engineering, manufacturing, and administrative workforce among our three Product Groups, we achieve great efficiencies while successfully addressing disparate customers. Astro-Meds three Product Groups, Astro-Med Test & Measurement, Grass Technologies, and QuickLabel Systems serve the test and measurement, neurophysiological testing, and packaging identification industries, respectively. Astro-Med Inc is a member of the Russell Microcap® Index. From its origin in 1969 as an inventor and manufacturer of paper-based data acquisition recorders for aerospace and medical testing, Astro-Med, Inc. grew by focusing its development of digital technology on emerging product applications with a view toward future market positioning. Today, Astro-Med’s products and services serve markets in label printing and packaging, ruggedized airborne printing, data acquisition, sleep diagnostics, and neurological instrumentation.

The company is built on a strong foundation with roots that grow deep and are steeped in a heritage of pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit. Edgar Hetteen co-founded ASV with Gary Lemke in 1983. Hetteen, known by many in the snowmobiling industry as the "Grandfather of Snowmobiling," founded Polaris Industries in 1945 and later founded Arctic Enterprises in 1961. Those companies today combine for annual sales of more than $1.9 billion. Hetteen was one of the very first inductees into the Minnesota Business Hall of Fame. Between 1968 and 1980, Lemke built a small snowmobile shop in Grand Rapids, Minnesota into one of the largest Arctic Cat dealerships in the country. Prior to establishing ASV, Lemke opened Marcell Manufacturing in 1980, building snow-grooming equipment and importing a Swedish snow-groomer called the Snow-Trac. In 1996, he was named one of the snowmobile industries 26 all-time leaders by Snowmobile Business magazine. In 1997, the St. Paul Pioneer Press named Lemke as Minnesotas top entrepreneur. ASV was founded on this mix of heritages, with both Hetteen and Lemke combining their notable strengths. Although Hetteen retired in June, 2005 and Lemke retired the following year, their entrepreneurial spirit lives on at ASV. Today, the corporation has grown and become stronger, though it still looks back at the values on which it was based. ASV, Inc., with approximately 250 employees, is one of the largest employers in northern Minnesota. ASV is always looking towards the future, while retaining the characteristics and qualities that

That stranger turned out to become, in his own right, a best-selling author and one of Robs great friends but on that day Roger Parkers question set Rob on a journey of discovery that has grown into an international training and consulting business on four continents with over 300 clients in literally every industry. That day, Rob Lebow began his work to define the Heroic Environment and then to duplicate its positive power in organizations worldwide. In 1986, Rob discovered data gathered in 1972 by graduate students from the social psychology department of a major United States university on a research project seeking the link between job satisfaction and individual and organizational financial performance. Initially, 2.4 million workers and managers in the United States from 32 Standard Industrial Codes (SIC) were surveyed, but no conclusive correlations or links could be validated. So these graduate students broadened their search to an additional 40 countries in hopes of achieving a correlation. The expansion generated an additional 14.6 million surveyed workers. In all, 17 million responses were reviewed. After almost three years of work and 17 million sources of data, no conclusive connection was validated between job satisfaction and individual or organizational performance. So, reluctantly, the students abandoned their work and viewed the data they had accumulated as having little or no value.
