The early technology in electro-chemical etching provided an answer for many marking problems. The process could (and still can) mark hardened parts, with a non-destructive but permanent mark long before lasers and computer controlled markers. The early years of Monode were defined by setting a service standard that provided etch power supplies and equipment from stock and custom stencils in a week. The founder sold Monode to Imperial Stamp and Engraving in 1975. A new growth spurt followed that established Monode as a known company and a "process". When the founder of Imperial Stamp passed Monode was soon again independent but solidly on a double-digit growth pattern. As the information age began, competitive processes in laser and computer-controlled marking began to spring up. In kind, Monode has continued to expand the core of its business with new products and innovative production methods. Acquisitions, new products in steel stamp manufacturing, distribution of equipment for plastic decorating by hot stamp and pad printing have added to the growth. Additionally, Monodes growth has been spurred by the Manufacture of the Monode PMS-2001 single pin product line, and by a distribution agreement with SIC Marking of France. Monode Marking is a manufacturer of parts marking and identification equipment and supplies. Nearly a half-century of progress as a trusted "parts marking problem solver" has developed a loyal customer base with a wide range of industrial manufacturers around the world. As a full service firm, Monode can provide a marking solution in the following technologies: • Electro-Chemical Etch Marking • Steel Stamp Impression Marking • Hot Stamping and Plastic Decorating Equipment • Pad Print Equipment with Closed Ink Systems • Single Pin Dot Peen Marking: • Monode PMS 2001 - Specializing In Ethernet Data Links • SIC Marking - Portable, Integrated and Scratch Engraving • 2D Data Matrix Symbology When identification is critical for traceability or product impact, a quality mark is required. Monode combines creative engineering with a full range of marking solutions to meet your needs.

Formed in 1997, the company has three core strengths deep system-level and applications knowledge, strong analog design expertise, and an innovative proprietary process technology. These combined advantages enable MPS to deliver highly integrated monolithic products that offer energy efficient, cost-effective solutions. MPS’ systems and applications expertise stems from a team of industry veterans who possess a combination of highly-technical electronics knowledge, sophisticated system and IC level design capabilities and extensive customer application experience. This allows the company to work closely with customers to identify new product opportunities, reduce time-to-market and effectively support its applications. In addition, MPS has developed a portfolio of intellectual property and proprietary wafer fabrication processes that enhance its products and market share. MPS design teams hail from distinguished analog semiconductor companies and top universities with extensive experience per designer. The teams have brought many innovative product suites to market and helped increase the company’s annual revenue by an average of 41% between 2004 and 2007. These talented individuals, coupled with MPS’ technology advantages, have created an emerging leader in the future of analog technology. MPS’ proprietary BCD Plus™ process technology is key to its competitive advantage. Many conventional analog technologies are handicapped by an inability to support the integration of power devices at high power levels. This results in unacceptably large semiconductors and/or significant levels of power loss. High power loss results in significant heat dissipation. This must be managed to avoid damaging or reducing the overall performance and efficiency of the system. Other analog semiconductor vendors rely on multiple chip solutions to avoid these issues. In contrast, MPS’ BCD Plus process technology resolves each of these issues. Implemented at standard CMOS foundries, this unique process integrates BiCMOS signal transistors with a highly efficient DMOS power transistor. This allows MPS to design and deliver smaller, single-chip power management ICs that are highly efficient and accurate. In addition, MPS’ single process technology simplifies the design process, and is applicable across a wide range of analog applications. The result is higher productivity and significant cost advantages for any MPS customer. MPS’ product families include: DC/DC converter ICs that provide the supply voltage to a variety of electronic devices. LED driver ICs, used in lighting displays, such as those found in cellular handsets and handheld computing devices. Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) backlight inverter ICs, used in lighting LCD displays, such as those found in notebook computers, flat panel displays and televisions Class D audio amplifier ICs, that are well-suited for small form factor and portable electronic devices Linear ICs including Operational and Current Sense Amplifiers Battery Chargers and Protection Devices Power over Ethernet (PoE) PD Solutions MPS is a fabless semiconductor company, working with third party foundries. However, in contrast to many other fabless companies that use standard process technologies, MPS works with its foundry partners to install its own proprietary process technology in their facilities for use solely by MPS. MPS employs over 550 employees worldwide, located in the United States, Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan and across Europe.

Recognizing the importance of managing our nations water resources, ADS researched and developed a structurally superior corrugated polyethylene pipe that was perfectly suited for subsurface drainage. Introduced in the United States in 1966, this plastic pipe proved to be far superior to the materials in use at the time. Its many advantages included lightweight construction for easy handling, high resistance to corrosion and abrasion, and strength and durability to withstand severe loading conditions. It was not surprising that the ADS pipe soon became the clear choice for applications in agriculture, mining, forestry, recreation, and civil engineered construction projects. Our commitment to the drainage industry is reflected by several significant technological innovations. In 1982 ADS announced the introduction of a new 18" and 24" pipe. These larger-diameter products were described as "the most important advancement since ADS introduced corrugated plastic pipe in the United States 15 years ago." These new sizes dramatically enhanced the companys ability to compete against the construction materials traditionally used for larger diameter applications. In a similar time frame ADS introduced their SB2 pipe for use in gravelless leach bed fields, Grain-Aire for aeration of grain and other commodities in storage, and product applications pertaining to geothermal and hazardous waste. In an effort to improve flow characteristics for storm sewer applications, the company concentrated their engineering resources towards the development of a large diameter pipe with a smooth interior. This product was introduced in 1987 and was instantly successful. Named N-12 in reference to a hydraulic calculation, the smooth-interior pipe had all the performance characteristics of the standard corrugated pipe but with improved flow capacity. Following engineering evaluations and field testing, the N-12 pipe quickly proved to be superior to concrete, corrugated metal, and other drainage materials. The science of materials engineering has totally changed the complexion of many U.S. industries. Nowhere is this more evident than in the construction market, where plastics are outperforming and outlasting traditional metal and mineral materials in a wide range of applications. Without doubt, the workhorse of construction plastics is High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). And the company that has led the development of HDPE for drainage products is Advanced Drainage Systems, with a record of painstaking research and breakthrough applications dating back to the 1960s. At ADS, we have seen the enormous cost of rebuilding yesterdays infrastructure as metals and concrete complete their often limited service life. Today, the engineered plastic system is a reality, providing better hydraulic performance, extended service life, and reductions in installation and maintenance costs. Tomorrow, you will continue to see new products and applications from ADS, the world leader in HDPE drainage systems. Our total commitment to quality products and uncompromising customer service has made us the largest, most experienced manufacturer of corrugated polyethylene pipe products in the world.
