This state-of-the-art building has allowed us to add capacity and capabilities to satisfy growth in a variety of markets and enhance our position as a leading worldwide supplier of optical filters for scientific research and instrumentation. We have the capability to provide comprehensive filter solutions—including optical design, manufacturing, and measurement services with in-house vacuum coating, glass fabrication, spectroscopy, and optics as well as the design, manufacturing, and integration of optical sub-assemblies. Our new facility, designed from the ground-up specifically for the manufacture of optical filters, has provided us with the opportunity to plan every step of the manufacturing process for efficient flow. In addition, we have made major capital equipment improvements resulting in increased capacity and capabilities. The resulting quality improvements and cost-savings of all of these changes are passed on to our customers. Major equipment purchases have been made in the area of coating capacity and technology, clean-room capable work and processing areas, and CNC metal machining. All of these upgrades in manufacturing equipment are intended to complement and improve the leading technology position that Omega already occupies in the optical filter industry. Omega is seeking LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its new facility, which is the first building on the Delta Campus, a 137 acre site planned to include a unique combination of business and residential uses. The Master Plan for the Campus includes seven “high information technology” businesses, an educational institution, and forty residential units.

Petersen fulfilled a longtime dream when they became founding benefactors to start the Petersen Automotive Museum, donating $5 million to the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum. In April 2000, the Petersens contributed an additional $24.8 million dollars to the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum to retire the bond debt and establish the Petersen Automotive Museum Foundation as an independent nonprofit organization. Overall, their gifts to the Petersen Automotive Museum total over $30 million. Today, the Petersen Automotive Museum stands as the nation’s premiere automotive museum, serving thousands of visitors each year. The Petersen Automotive Museum is dedicated to the exploration and presentation of the automobile and its impact on American life and culture using Los Angeles as the prime example. Encompassing more than 300,000 square feet, its exhibits and lifelike dioramas feature more than 150 rare and classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. Covering four floors, the facility features permanent exhibits on the first floor that trace the history of the automobile. Visitors are invited to walk through, not by, exhibits and dioramas and experience settings of early Los Angeles where the world’s first shopping district was designed. The second floor presents five rotating galleries with state-of-the-art displays of racecars, classic cars, vintage motorcycles, concept cars, celebrity and movie cars, and auto design and technology. The May Family Discovery Center is located on the third floor. Designed to spark interest in science by way of the automobile, the 6,500 square-foot, interactive “hands-on” learning center teaches children basic scientific principles by explaining the fundamental functions of a car. A spectacular all-glass penthouse conference center, Founder’s Lounge and kitchen, comprise the fourth floor, which is available for special events and functions. As business boomed with the constant flow of settlers to the West, Fred continued repairing firearms, sewing machines and mowers, as well as manufacturing his own products from his backroom workshop. A host of other interesting products were added to his product line, to keep pace with the steady influx of settlers and their changing demands. As the company outgrew its original confines, Kees moved into his first manufacturing plant in 1910, and the product line continued to grow. Over the next several decades, F.D. Keees Manufacturing prospered, however the Kees family feared a post WWII depression and sold the company in 1947. The new owners maintained the current product line and expanded into new categories. In 1963, the line of Kees Lawn and Garden Equipment was added. Original Kees lawn equipment included The Kees Krawler, a self-propelled sprinkler that used a garden hose as a track and its own water pressure for locomotion, and The Kees Garden Tool Set that featured one-piece construction with each tool being formed from a single piece of heavy-duty steel. In 1969, they released The Kees Kaster, a broadcast seeder that delivered up to five times the coverage of conventional spreaders. In 1976, F.D. Kees entered the commercial mower market with a 21 inch steel deck mower. This unit was side-discharge, came complete with a grass collector, and was loved by the rental market. In 1977, the 36-inch and 48-inch intermediate walk-behind mowers were introduced and established the Kees brand as a leader in the market. In 1986, Kees created its firs 60-inch rider by adding a two point hitch and sulky. In the early 90s, F.D. Kees focused its efforts on the commercial mowing market and grew the business significantly. In 1997, F.D. Kees was purchased by Yazoo Power Equipment of Jackson, Mississippi creating Yazoo/Kees. Yazoo Power Equipment had an impressive history in its own right. The Yazoo High Wheel Mower started and built the company, and in 1959 they pioneered the first Out-Front rotary riding mower, the YR-60 or Yazoo Rider 60-inch. Today, Yazoo/Kees manufactures commerical mowing equipment in a brand new facility in Beatrice, Nebraska and employs over 300 people.

After a few short years, the young company startled the electrical world by creating the first brush-type fan motor-an innovation that was to find a welcome home in one of the worlds first desk fans. Of course, this breakthrough fan was an instant success with the public. This spirit of innovation still exists today, as Emerson continues to develop new ideas and new products. Today, Emerson is the largest producer of fractional horsepower induction motors in the world. In fact, we still hold patents on the two primary methods of controlling fan speeds. Our motors have set the industry standard through the years, while our fan styling continues on the leading edge of design. In 1897, J. W. Emerson said, "We will endeavor to furnish the handsomest as well as the best fan motor on the market. If you need relief from the heated term, try our fan motors and be happy." One hundred and thirteen years later, we couldnt have said it better!

In 1992, he set out to lead one of the first companies involved in the LCD display migration from Japan to Taiwan. He established Display International as an associated company to sell, develop, and modify liquid crystal displays from Data International Co., LTD of Taiwan. Display International eventually was renamed Data International of North America (DINA) and established a familiar name in the LCD industry for many years. Under his sales experience, Data International Taiwan broadened their range of products, sales, and production facilities. In January 2003, Mr. Khuda sold specific assets in LCD technologies for the goal of pursuing new business ventures in emerging technologies and production capabilities away from the core competency of DINA. In August of 2003, Mr. Khuda established One Stop Displays (OSD). OSD is proud to feature advanced display technologies such as Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) enhanced AMLCD displays. OSD features both analog and digital solutions for aSi and LTPS TFT displays. One Stop Displays is also the premier source for Polymer Organic LED displays (pLED, or LEP) and Small Molecule Organic LED displays (SMOLED, or OLED). The company received a well received welcome to the industry, and has since broadened its US sales and engineering locations for providing its display products and manufacturing services. In Q4 2004, OSD was divided to separate its products from its services. OSD was proud to introduce Universal EMS (UEMS) dedicated to developing board assemblies, sub-assemblies, and even full OEM product development. Click on the services tab on the menu bar to learn more. OSD has since broadened its standard product line for monochrome, area color, and full color organic displays, and added additional TFT products for needs in surplus of 10-inch in diagonal.
