Brief Description of Goods/Services: Procurement of Axle Shock Absorbers for MD 52 Type Bogies, which must fully comply with the technical specifications stipulated by Bangladesh Railway (BR), Item No. 20400029, and the design and performance requirements described in the attached drawings.

Expected Commencement Date: April 16, 2026 (to commence after contract becomes effective)

Expected Completion Date: August 31, 2026 (upon completion of all goods delivery)

Tender/Proposal Document Price: 1,500 Bangladeshi Taka (Non-refundable)

Payment Method: Payment through bank.

Bidder Eligibility Requirements: Must meet all qualification criteria listed in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS), including but not limited to: registration in the Bangladesh Electronic Government Procurement System; relevant experience and capability in supplying railway-specific components; sound financial condition; no record of major defaults.

Pre-Bid Meeting: Registration starts at 17:00 on March 3, 2026, and ends at 15:00 on March 11, 2026.

Bid Security Submission Deadline: 14:00 on March 16, 2026 (must be received by this time)

Tender Document Language: English or Bengali, or submission in both languages, with the Bengali version prevailing in case of ambiguity.

Quotation Requirements: Bidders must provide unit price and total price for the axle shock absorbers. The quotation should be the final price inclusive of all taxes, insurance, transportation, packaging, and delivery to the specified location.

Technical Specification Requirements: Axle shock absorbers must be fully compatible with MD 52 type bogies, meet original equipment manufacturer performance standards, and provide product certification, material certificates, and original factory test reports.

Packaging and Delivery: Goods must be packed to industrial standards suitable for long-distance sea and land transport, with moisture-proof, rust-proof, and shock-proof packaging. The outer packaging must clearly indicate shipping marks, item number, and quantity.

Warranty Period: A warranty period of not less than 12 months from the date of final acceptance of the goods (subject to the tender documents). During the warranty period, the supplier must unconditionally and free of charge replace any goods found to have manufacturing defects or failing to meet performance standards.

Acceptance Criteria: Upon arrival at the site, the goods will undergo unpacking inspection and performance testing by the Bangladesh Railway Technical Committee based on the technical requirements in the tender documents, national standards, and samples confirmed by both parties.

Alternative Proposals: Alternative products or bids with unauthorized technical deviations are not acceptable.

Contract Type: Fixed Price Supply Contract

Liquidated Damages for Late Delivery: 0.5% of the total contract price per week of delay, up to a maximum of 10% of the total contract price.

Important Note: The bank only updates payment transactions at the end of each day. Therefore, bidders should ensure that bid security and other payments are completed at least one day before the submission date to avoid bid invalidation due to system delays.
