Project Name: Prequalification Tender for Accredited Training Service Providers

Service Objective: To provide vocational skills development training in the Central Karoo District to enhance local residents' employability and the competitiveness of SMMEs.

Service Scope: Provision of accredited skills training courses (must comply with South African Qualifications Authority - SAQA requirements).

Covered areas may include but are not limited to: Building construction, electrical installation, plumbing, welding technology, hospitality services, administration, information technology, entrepreneurship training, etc.; Customized short-term intensive courses can be developed based on the Municipality's needs; Provision of post-training assessment, certification, and employment guidance support.

Training Delivery Requirements:

Training Location: Primarily within the Central Karoo District Municipality jurisdiction (Beaufort West and surrounding towns)

Training Format: Classroom instruction + practical training (must provide training facilities or equipment)

Training Duration: 2-8 weeks per course (adjusted according to course type)

Number of Trainees: Minimum of 15 per batch (specific numbers adjusted based on actual demand)

Training Language: Primarily English, with Afrikaans or isiXhosa support if necessary

Bidder Qualification Requirements:

Must be an accredited training institution (must provide accreditation certificate)

Must have at least 3 years of experience in vocational skills training

Must possess a qualified team of training instructors (must attach proof of instructor qualifications)

Must possess training facilities and equipment (or demonstrate ability to lease/borrow)

Functionality Assessment Requirement: Must achieve 100% pass in the functionality assessment to proceed to further evaluation.

Lot CKDM007 - 2025/2026 (Generator Procurement)

Project Name: Supply and Delivery of 1 Trailer-Mounted Silent Diesel Generator

Project Purpose: For emergency power supply, operations in remote areas, temporary power supply for public events, etc.

Specifications (Detailed):

Power Requirement: 200 kVA (160 kW), continuous operating power not less than 180 kVA

Phase: Three-phase four-wire, 380V / 400V, 50Hz

Engine: Industrial-grade diesel engine, water-cooled, turbocharged, compliant with EU Stage IIIA or Tier 3 emission standards (or equivalent South African standards)

Alternator: Brushless self-excited, automatic voltage regulator (AVR), protection class IP23

Fuel System: Equipped with large-capacity fuel tank, supporting ≥ 8 hours of continuous operation at full load

Silencing Requirement: Fully enclosed silent canopy, noise level ≤ 75 dB(A) at 1 meter

Project Name: Supply and Refurbishment of Firefighting Equipment

Project Purpose: To enhance grassland fire prevention and control capability in the Central Karoo District, safeguarding lives and property.

Procurement List & Specification Requirements: 2500-liter Water Tank Trailer (specifically designed and manufactured for firefighting purposes)

Tank Capacity: 2500 liters (polyethylene or stainless steel material, UV resistant)

Trailer Chassis: Tandem axle trailer, with braking system, lighting system, stabilizer legs

Pump System: Equipped with a high-pressure water pump, flow rate ≥ 50 liters/minute, pressure ≥ 20 bar

Hose Reel: Equipped with 50-meter high-pressure hose and firefighting nozzle

Self-priming Function: Capable of drawing water directly from rivers, ponds

Additional Configuration: Tool storage box, warning light strip, fire extinguisher bracket

Refurbishment of Existing Water Tanker (Adding Firefighting Capability)

Refurbishment Subject: Existing Municipality water tanker (specific model to be determined via on-site inspection)

Installation of a high-pressure firefighting pump (flow rate ≥ 100 liters/minute, pressure ≥ 15 bar)

Installation of a firefighting hose reel (50 meters)

Installation of a firefighting water monitor (optional, bidder may propose solution)

Refurbishment Requirement: Must not alter the primary function of the original vehicle; refurbished unit must pass relevant South African safety certifications.
