China's Shaanxi Fuping Company recently achieved a breakthrough in the core technology for improving quality and reducing costs of a new grinding aid. By selecting low-cost alternative raw materials and achieving regularized, stable application, the company solved issues such as the high cost and insufficient adaptability of glycerol-based grinding aids.

Fuping Company established a dedicated research team, focusing on three main directions: formula optimization, raw material substitution, and adaptability upgrades, to carry out technical research. During the research process, team members conducted in-depth studies on the physical and chemical properties of various raw materials. Combined with on-site production realities, they systematically analyzed the adaptability and application effects of different raw materials. They successively carried out multiple rounds of formula debugging, performance comparison tests, and production line on-site verification, repeatedly optimizing parameters and screening raw materials, gradually identifying polymer polyols as the optimal alternative raw material. Through comprehensive testing and verification, the polymer polyols, with their stable macromolecular structure, exhibit strong adsorption, high-temperature resistance, and long-lasting grinding aid effects. They can achieve multiple functions such as efficient dispersion, inhibition of particle agglomeration, and enhancement of cement strength, and can directly adapt to the operational requirements of existing production lines without the need to adjust equipment or batching schemes.

After the application of this new grinding aid, the 3-day cement strength increased by 2.5 MPa, all quality indicators remained stable and controllable, and the cost per ton of the grinding aid decreased by over 1,000 yuan compared to the original product. Currently, the new grinding aid has been put into regularized use, providing technical support for the efficient and stable operation of the cement grinding system. Based on this new grinding aid technology, Fuping Company is continuously deepening the integration of technological innovation and production practice.
