On May 10, the "High Specific Power Cathode-Closed Air-Cooled Stack" technology developed by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal in Dalian.
This new type of stack is a "hydrogen heart" tailored for industrial drones, integrating features such as lightweight design, high power, and air-cooled heat dissipation. It can more than double the endurance time of industrial drones, with the air-cooled stack achieving a specific power of 1970W/kg.
Currently, the project has established a full-chain independent R&D system covering "materials—components—systems," forming a complete set of independent intellectual property rights. The project team has built an automated production line for cathode-closed air-cooled stacks, possessing the capability for large-scale delivery. The achievements have been successfully applied in actual working conditions such as forestry, agriculture, power inspection, and emergency rescue.
