Recently, the 550MPa-grade high-strength, high-weathering container steel independently developed by Angang Steel passed rigorous validation by end users and has officially entered bulk supply. The corrosion resistance of this product is improved by over 15% compared to the original steel grade at the same level, effectively reducing energy consumption in logistics transportation and extending equipment service life, marking a key breakthrough in balancing green, low-carbon performance with high performance in China's container steel sector.

To address the industry pain points of container steel being prone to corrosion and bearing heavy loads during long-term outdoor operations, the Technology Center, in collaboration with Bayuquan Branch and the Marketing Center, leveraged the integrated "sales-research-production" coordination mechanism to optimize composition design and introduce high-precision temperature-controlled rolling processes. The new product has passed full-process testing by multiple domestic container manufacturers and has been applied in the production of various product types, with customers reporting stable and excellent overall performance.
