YZR (450-560) Series Wound Rotor Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors for Crane and Metallurgical Applications

With the advancement of frequency conversion technology, the performance of frequency converters has continuously improved while their prices have steadily declined, leading to the rapid development of variable frequency speed control motors. There is a growing trend for small-sized YZR series motors to be replaced by variable frequency speed control motors. However, the price of large-scale frequency converters remains prohibitively expensive, which ensures a very promising market outlook for the YZR series of medium-voltage, low-voltage wound rotor motors designed for crane and metallurgical applications. The YZR series of wound rotor medium-voltage, low-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors for crane and metallurgical use is a new product developed by our company in response to market demands. These motors are primarily suitable for driving various medium and large-sized crane machinery and other similar specialized equipment. They feature a wide speed regulation range, substantial overload capacity, and high mechanical strength, making them particularly well-suited for equipment that operates under short-term or intermittent conditions, with frequent starts and stops, occasional overloads, and significant vibration and impact.
