Product Introduction

Design Principles of RTV & Anti-fall Toughened Glass Insulators:

  • The PRTV dip coating thickness reaches 0.8 mm, forming a high tear-resistant covering layer.
  • In the event of self-shattering, the shed disc separates from the iron cap.
  • The glass shed disc maintains its overall structure under the PRTV wrapping and does not fall.

Advantages:

① Strong adhesion between the coating and the glass component.

PRTV-II coating is tightly bonded with the glass insulator body, ensuring electrical performance and transmitting mechanical loads through the bonding interface, reliably adhering to self-shattered glass fragments.

② The covering layer has sufficient capacity to bear the weight of the glass component.

Even if the insulator self-shatters, the weight of the glass fragments is borne by the high tear-resistant covering layer, which provides sufficient strength support.

③ The covering layer has sufficient capacity to withstand stepping.

During construction, workers can walk on the insulator string wearing regular electrician shoes without causing scratches or tears on the PRTV coating surface of the insulator.

④ Superior pollution resistance.

The super-hydrophobic coating material combined with sufficient coating thickness ensures long-term superior pollution resistance of the product and meets the operational needs of harsh conditions such as high humidity, high salt fog, high dust, chemical pollution, and metallurgical contamination.

⑤ Easy zero-value inspection.

Self-shattered glass fragments detach from the residual hammer without falling, facilitating visual inspection.
