The short transverse-axis cantilever roadheader is an integrated rock roadway tunneling system that combines excavation, bolting, transportation, and dust suppression functions. It consists of a roadheader-bolter, a bolt transfer unit, and a belt transfer conveyor. It is suitable for rapid tunneling in any cross-section shape where the Protodyakonov rock hardness coefficient is ≤ f8.
