Product Overview

The PCS-901 series is a digital ultra (extra) high-voltage transmission line complete rapid protection device. It is equipped with pilot protection based on power-frequency variation directional and zero-sequence directional elements, unique power-frequency variation distance protection, and a full set of backup protection consisting of three-stage phase-to-phase and ground distance protection plus multi-stage zero-sequence directional overcurrent protection. It also includes automatic reclosing functionality and can serve as primary and backup protection for 220kV and above transmission lines. The device fully supports digital substation functions, IEC 61850-9-2 sampling value transmission protocol, IEC 61850 communication protocol, and real-time GOOSE functionality.
