Product Overview
As the third line of defense for the power system, the NARI Relays PCS-993 Series Out-of-Step Separation Device is mainly used for out-of-step detection on system tie-lines or power plant outgoing lines. When out-of-step operation of the power system is detected, measures such as separating tie-lines, separating power plant outgoing lines, or generator tripping are taken to prevent system collapse and avoid large-scale blackouts. The device fully supports digital substation functions, the IEC 61850-9-2 sampling value transmission protocol, the IEC 61850 protocol, and real-time GOOSE functionality.
