Product Introduction

Overview

After urban and rural power grids step down high-voltage power to 12kV at primary substations, a large number of regional secondary substations are required to distribute electricity to end users. The safety and reliability of distribution equipment directly affect the stability of the distribution network.

Secheron has developed the new X-Air series environmentally friendly gas-insulated medium-voltage switchgear using computer simulation technology combined with years of product design and manufacturing experience. By perfectly combining fixed unit modules with flexible expansion capability, it meets the requirements of both network nodes and user terminals while satisfying the need for compact switchgear in various secondary substations.

The X-Air series is a fully sealed system in which all live parts and switches are enclosed in a stainless-steel shell. The entire switchgear is unaffected by external environmental conditions, ensuring operational reliability and personnel safety while achieving maintenance-free operation. Optional expandable busbars enable any combination for full modularization. The expansion busbar is fully insulated and shielded, guaranteeing high reliability and safety.

The X-Air series also provides factory-automated solutions, realizing the concept of intelligent switchgear and minimizing on-site installation and commissioning workload.

X-Air is available in standard configurations of 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 circuits, and additional equipment can be added according to customer requirements. Thanks to its full-module and half-module combination capability and inherent expandability, X-Air offers exceptional flexibility.

The development of the X-Air series complies with IEC 298 standard. Under indoor conditions (20°C), the design life exceeds 30 years (IEC 298 Appendix GG).
