The On Extreme-NEE series circuit breaker is a new generation of breakers developed based on dual-breakpoint structure technology, achieving international advanced levels. Its basic principle lies in generating 2 breakpoints after the entire circuit interruption, correspondingly producing 2 arc voltages. When short-circuit current arrives, arc burning consumes and absorbs a large amount of energy, thereby achieving current limiting. Thus, compared to traditional single-breakpoint breakers, the dual-breakpoint structure breaker increases the circuit energy consumption capacity by 50%, with a maximum breaking capacity of up to 150kA. Its excellent current-limiting capability ensures stable and reliable protection.
The NEE's superior current-limiting characteristics enable it to quickly open the main contacts before the short-circuit current reaches its first peak, rapidly extinguishing the arc between contacts, greatly limiting short-circuit energy and thereby reducing damage from short-circuit currents to the system. When multiple breakers are used in series, the excellent full selectivity technology causes the breaker closest to the fault to trip, thereby cutting off the fault circuit, while the upstream breaker and other circuits remain unaffected. This eliminates the need for oversized selection, significantly reducing overall costs, while ensuring power supply continuity.
