Overview

Since the 1990s, with accelerating urbanization and increasing power supply reliability, urban overhead lines have gradually been replaced by buried cables, and indoor switch stations have been superseded by outdoor ones. Fully insulated, touch-safe, flood-proof, compact, and maintenance-free (or low-maintenance) ring main units have developed rapidly and are now widely used in distribution systems requiring high reliability, such as urban commercial centers, industrial parks, airports, electrified railways, and highways. They can be used independently indoors or outdoors or integrated into prefabricated substations.

Product Features

Functionally Integrated, All-in-One Design

All live parts of the XGreen-12 Series are sealed inside an epoxy-resin cast housing, protecting them from external environmental influences, improving operational reliability, achieving maintenance-free (or minimal-maintenance) performance, and meeting compact size requirements.

The switch employs a three-position (disconnect + earth) + vacuum interrupter configuration – currently the most mature and proven solution – particularly suited to today's grid operation and maintenance needs.

Comprehensive Mechanical Interlocking

The operating panel of the XGreen-12 Series features complete "five-prevention" mechanical interlocks. All interlock functions are pre-configured internally; simply follow the operating instructions for safe and convenient use.

Flexible Modular Expansion Design

The XGreen-12 Series adopts a modular concept. Various modules can be combined in diverse configurations using dedicated busbar connectors, maximally satisfying the complex and varied distribution design requirements across different regions in China.
