- A steam boiler safety valve is an automatic pressure relief and alarm device. When the working pressure of the steam boiler exceeds the allowable working pressure, the safety valve automatically opens, rapidly releasing a sufficient amount of steam while emitting an audible alarm to warn the boiler operator, so that necessary measures can be taken to reduce the boiler pressure. When the boiler pressure drops to the allowable working pressure, the safety valve automatically closes again, thereby ensuring the boiler operates safely within the allowable working pressure range and preventing boiler explosions caused by overpressure.
Applications
Safety valves are widely used in: chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, papermaking, mining, power generation, liquefied gas, food, pharmaceutical, water supply and drainage, municipal, mechanical equipment supporting, electronics industry, urban construction, and other fields.
