Product Introduction
  • A foot valve is an energy-saving valve typically installed at the bottom end of a pump's underwater suction pipe. It restricts the return of liquid in the pump pipe to the water source, functioning as a one-way inlet only. The valve cover features multiple water inlet ribs, which help prevent clogging. It is primarily used in water suction pipelines, serving roles in waterways and support.

Foot Valve

  • The structure of the foot valve is ideal in terms of both flow rate and process requirements. Additionally, it does not cause turbulence during drainage.
  • Interfaces compliant with all current international standards are available, such as welded, clamped, or threaded types.
  • The valve body surface can be mechanically polished or electropolished according to customer requirements, achieving a precision of up to 0.25 µm.
  • The foot valve can be equipped with manual or pneumatic operation. Each pump requires the installation of one foot valve. Foot valves are usually installed below the water surface, while above-water bottom valves are installed above the water surface. It is an upgraded product replacing older foot valves, serving as an ideal water priming device and can also replace vacuum pumps and vacuum suction devices.

Applications

Widely applicable in supporting facilities for pumps in industries such as petrochemicals, chemicals, textiles, printing and dyeing, metallurgy, mining, and irrigation and drainage.
