Product Introduction

The Visibility Photon Lidar is based on the optical physical mechanism of laser scattering and absorption by atmospheric particles. It emits laser pulses that interact with atmospheric aerosols, cloud and patchy fog droplets and other particles. Through single-photon detection technology, it collects backscattered signals, accurately inverts the atmospheric extinction coefficient, and then calculates atmospheric visibility. The equipment can obtain visibility information on the detection path, and relying on the horizontal scanning mode, realizes refined monitoring of regional visibility planar distribution. It can accurately identify disastrous weather such as fog and low visibility, providing reliable data support for traffic meteorological support, heavy fog early warning and atmospheric environment monitoring.
