Substation Automation System

The substation integrated automation system launched by Chongqing New Century Electric Co., Ltd. is a new-generation intelligent solution specially designed for substations and switching stations with voltage levels of 110kV and below. The system adopts a fully open, hierarchical and distributed architecture with modularized software and hardware design, integrating protection, measurement and control, metering, online monitoring, and intelligent auxiliary supervision into one platform, enabling panoramic data acquisition, processing, monitoring, control, and operation management.

The system follows the principle of “unattended operation and remote maintenance,” supports international standard protocols such as IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-5-101/103/104, and features dual Ethernet redundancy and flexible networking capabilities (single network/dual network/ring network). Built-in VQC automatic voltage and reactive power control, WEB publishing, and mobile remote browsing functions significantly enhance substation operation reliability, reduce operation and maintenance costs, and contribute to the development of smart grids.
