This compact unit incorporates a circuit design that enables instant and efficient power. The P6000 automatically adjusts itself to match into any electrode style or dielectric material and offers the operator better than 4 to 1 load matching. The versatility of the P6000 Series Corona Treater Power Supply provides for a nominal turn down ratio of 20 to 1, allowing the operator to precisely turn the power up or down to achieve the desired treat level. The specially designed power measurement circuit guarantees that the power specified is the power being delivered and the feedback circuit automatically maintains constant output power regardless of minor changes in load conditions, humidity and temperature. Benefits of the P6000 Series Power Supply Easy to install Accurate output power Small, compact design Low maintenance Superior “load match” for a wide range of applications Best available “turn down ratio” in the industry Economical design, improved cost savings User friendly “touch” control pad Features of the P6000 Series Power Supply Start/Stop contactor for safe, dependable operation CE or ETL certified Digital LED displays Power, Voltage, Current, Frequency Microprocessor controlled Power supply diagnostic indicators Loss of treatment indicator Humidity compensation control What is Load Matching Load matching is the ability of a power supply to provide full output power to various load conditions. Typically, these changes in load are caused by adjusting electrodes to match different treat widths, although changes from one roll covering type to another or to different electrode sizes will also change load conditions. What is Turn Down Ratio Turn down ratio is the ability of a power supply to reduce the output power to the bare minimum and still produce an even corona across the air gap. This is critical when a variety of different materials are to be treated or when proportional speed adjustments are automatically made. How does this relate to Pillar’s P6000 Series Power Supply Pillar’s P6000 has been designed to provide the widest range of flexibility to its user. Setting it in a class by itself, the P6000 load matching ability is capable of providing a range typical of variable frequency power supplies. The P6000 turn down ratio is unequaled by any other high frequency power supplies on the market.
