3. Characteristics:

1. The rated voltage of the cable U0/U is divided into four types: 1kV 10kV 20kV 35kV.

2. Long-term allowable working temperature of cable conductor:

PVC insulation is 70°C;

Polyethylene insulation is 70°C;

75°C for high-density polyethylene;

XLPE insulation is 90°C.

3. In case of short circuit (the longest duration is not more than 5 seconds), the maximum temperature of the cable:

PVC insulation is 160°C;

Polyethylene insulation is 130°C;

150°C for high-density polyethylene;

XLPE insulation is 250°C.

4. The laying temperature of the cable should not be lower than -20°C.

5. The ambient temperature of the cable is -40~40°C

6. Allowable bending radius of cable:

Cables with rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and below;

If the outer diameter of the cable is D<25mm, the bending radius shall not be less than 4D;

If the outer diameter of the cable is D≥25mm, the bending radius shall not be less than 6D;

Rated voltage 10kV, 35kV cable;

Single-core cable, bending radius not less than 20 (D d)

Multi-core cable, bending radius not less than 15 (D d)
