Introduction: Vibration-damping steel plate, also known as silent steel plate or damping composite plate, is composed of metal plates and polymer damping materials sandwiched between them. The thickness of the polymer damping material layer is controlled between 30-80µm. The product currently adheres to the standard GB/T 36709-2018.
Vibration-damping plates belong to constrained damping structures. When subjected to vibration, the polymer damping material in the middle undergoes shear deformation, converting the mechanical energy of the vibration into heat, which is then dissipated into the air. Additionally, the viscoelasticity of the polymer material itself absorbs part of the vibration energy, providing excellent vibration-damping and noise-reduction effects.
Product Features:
-
Vibration Damping and Noise Reduction: The product offers excellent vibration-damping and noise-reduction functions. When applied to the electric control cover and surrounding components of electric control systems in new energy vehicles, it can reduce noise by 2-18dB, enhancing the overall NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance of the vehicle and improving passenger comfort.
-
Excellent Stamping Formability: The safe double-layer composite technology ensures high reliability and excellent processing and forming performance of the metal materials used. The metals are coated with aluminum-silicon, zinc-aluminum-magnesium, etc., which have a low friction coefficient. The coating remains intact during the stamping process, making the product widely applicable.
-
Durability and Environmental Friendliness: The durability of the adhesive used meets the relevant requirements of GB/T28046.4-2011 "Road Vehicles - Environmental Conditions and Testing for Electrical and Electronic Equipment - Part 4: Climatic Loads." The product is health-friendly and environmentally safe, complying with the EU REACH standards.
Application Examples and Fields:
- New Energy Vehicle Field: Controller top covers, small end caps, dual electric control top covers, cover plates.
- Traditional Automotive and Transportation Fields: Engine parts (cylinder head covers, engine noise-reduction plates, oil pans), components around the engine, ships, rail transportation, and silent panels.
