The 610W series semi-permanent packer combines the performance of permanent packers with a retrievable packer by feeding a cutting tool through the tubing, cutting the center tube and lifting up to unseat the packer, or sleeve milling to process the packer.

The packer can be threaded directly onto the production casing, lowered to the desired depth, and a predetermined pressure is applied to shear the pins to set the packer. The bidirectional anchor slip design can resist the forces from both the upper and lower directions, effectively preventing the packer from moving up.
