Texcal Energy Conducts Dry Well Drilling In Indonesia

Wedoany.com Report-Dec 05,   Cue Energy Ltd. said in a Dec. 4 press release that Texcal Energy Mahato drilled a dry well at Mahato PSC in Central Sumatra, Indonesia.

The PSC PC-01 well was spudded on November 4, 2024 at a depth of 5,800 feet. After drilling was completed, wireline logging identified the area of interest within the Bekasap formation.

Subsequent tests found no hydrocarbons. The company will cap the well.

Mahato started commercial oil production in early 2021 with the first well being PB-1. Mahato 2P reserves are 1.4 million barrels of oil equivalent.

Texcal Energy Mahato is the operator of PSC PC-01 (72.25%), Partners include Central Sumatra Energy(11.5%), Cue Energy(11.25%) and Riau Petroleum(5%).
