Wedoany.com Report on Mar 16th, Post-press equipment manufacturer AB Graphic International (ABG) has announced its inaugural participation at the interpack 2026 exhibition, to be held from May 7th to 13th, 2026, in Düsseldorf, Germany. As part of a joint showcase with strategic partner Galaxy Packtech, ABG will present its comprehensive flexible packaging solutions.

This exhibition marks ABG's first involvement with Interpack and the first time its three core pillars of flexible packaging strategy – bag-making conversion, lamination, and digital decoration – will be demonstrated together in a live production environment. Through its partnership with Galaxy, ABG has expanded into the flexible packaging sector, supporting producers in achieving production diversification and adapting to market demands for short-run printing, product variety, and improved operational efficiency.
Live demonstrations will highlight the Galaxy GS-24 Plus 200 bag-making system, capable of producing various bag types such as stand-up pouches, three-side seal bags, and shaped bags. Designed for modern flexible packaging production, it features digital controls for storing job recipes to reduce setup time and provides real-time production data via mobile devices, helping to enhance consistency and reduce waste.
ABG will also exhibit the new ThermoLam thermal laminator, a compact machine suitable for packaging applications in snacks, cosmetics, and wipes. This laminator integrates pre-heating, cooling, and slitting processes, achieving speeds of up to 120 meters per minute, with a front-loading design to save space and improve operational efficiency.
Additionally, the PouchJet digital inkjet printing solution will be showcased as part of the flexible packaging offering. Designed for integration with Galaxy bag-making platforms, it supports inline decoration. The system enables high-quality digital decoration and custom production at speeds of 80 meters per minute, with adjustable decoration heights, providing producers with flexibility without compromising output.
Matt Burton, Global Sales Director at ABG, said: "interpack is a significant milestone for ABG as we comprehensively demonstrate our flexible packaging capabilities for the first time. Our collaboration with Galaxy allows us to integrate bag-making, lamination, and digital decoration within a connected production workflow, offering customers a practical pathway into flexible packaging with technology designed to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and future growth."
ABG plans to open a new Flexible Packaging Centre of Excellence in Girona, Spain, where customers can experience the complete workflow through live demonstrations. In the coming months, visitors will have the opportunity to test materials and explore applications with ABG experts.
At the interpack exhibition, flexible packaging experts Vicky Roberts and Mike Shannon will engage with visitors to discuss applications and production needs.
