Wedoany.com Report, On March 16 local time, according to foreign media reports, AI cloud infrastructure company Nebius is entering into a strategic partnership with NVIDIA. The two parties will jointly develop a dedicated cloud platform for robotics and Physical Artificial Intelligence (Physical AI). This platform aims to provide specialized cloud computing power support for AI scenarios requiring interaction with the real world, such as robotics development, industrial automation, and embodied intelligence.
This collaboration marks another significant move by NVIDIA in the field of Physical AI. The partnership is built on a previous substantial investment from NVIDIA. On March 11, NVIDIA announced a $2 billion investment in Nebius to support its large-scale deployment of NVIDIA's AI computing systems. According to the plan, Nebius is expected to deploy over 5 gigawatts (GW) of NVIDIA systems by the end of 2030, forming a massive Physical AI computing cluster.
From a technical positioning perspective, the jointly developed cloud platform will focus on the specific needs of robotics and Physical AI. Unlike traditional cloud-based AI training, robotics and Physical AI demand higher capabilities in real-time environmental perception, multimodal data fusion, high-fidelity simulation training, and low-latency decision-making. The collaboration between Nebius and NVIDIA aims to deeply integrate NVIDIA's GPU computing power with Nebius's cloud infrastructure capabilities, providing developers with a development environment better suited for Physical AI scenarios.
As a company specializing in AI cloud infrastructure, Nebius has long been committed to providing high-performance computing resources for AI workloads. With the growing demand for intelligence in fields such as robotics, autonomous driving, and industrial automation, cloud platforms for AI in the physical world are becoming the next high ground contested by major computing power players. Through a dual strategy of investment and partnership, NVIDIA is accelerating its efforts to establish a core position within the Physical AI ecosystem.
