Orsted Completes Divestment of UK Offshore Shares

Wedoany.com Report-Jan 2, Orsted has completed its divestments from 12.45% minority shares in four different UK wind farms.
The Danish developer announced in October that Brookfield would acquire the shares in Hornsea 1, Hornsea 2, Walney Extension, and Burbo Bank Extension.
Altogether the transaction gives Brookfield a stake in 3.5GW of wind farms currently under long term contracts for difference.
The transaction is worth some £1.745b.
Orsted retains a 37.55 % ownership interest in the four assets.
