Fire at Nuclear Power Plant in Southern Taiwan Put Out, No Safety Concern, Power Company Says

Wedoany.com Report-Mar 6, A fire that broke out at a nuclear power plant in southern Taiwan was put out and posed no safety concern, the Taiwan Power Company said on Thursday.
The company said in a statement that the fire at the Maanshan nuclear power plant in southern Pingtung county was some 50 metres away from nuclear power equipment and did not affect electricity generation.
