en.Wedoany.com Reported - Kakao Enterprise has signed an AI service infrastructure cooperation agreement with the National Pension Service (NPS), aiming to provide full-cycle infrastructure support from design to operation for the NPS's AI innovation.
This agreement follows up on the AI-based public service innovation and business transformation memorandum of understanding signed between Kakao and the NPS in March this year. The two parties plan to collaborate throughout the design and operation of AI infrastructure, primarily involving the deployment and technical support of graphics processing unit (GPU) servers, the application of the Kakao Cloud AI platform, the establishment of AI model testing and proof-of-concept environments, as well as institutional and administrative support based on public sector expertise.

Lee Won-joo, CEO of Kakao Enterprise, stated that when the NPS, which handles data for the entire population, pursues AI innovation, a secure and stable infrastructure is a core foundation. Based on its technological capabilities, Kakao Enterprise will fully support the development of AI-based pension services. Kim Seong-joo, Chairman of the NPS, noted that securing high-performance GPU resources through cooperation with Kakao Enterprise is an example of public-private collaboration driving proactive administration, which will accelerate the development of AI services that the public can tangibly experience.
Additionally, Kakao Enterprise is providing cloud usage support to companies in Ansan City that are looking to accelerate AI adoption through the "INNOPOLIS+ AI Ultra-Fast Technology and Industry Linkage Platform Construction Support Project" under the "Strong Small Research and Development Special Zone."
