en.Wedoany.com Reported - Content professional company Dexter Studio will participate in the development of a next-generation artificial intelligence interface capable of recognizing creators' brainwave signals and producing video content.

According to industry sources on the 28th, Dexter will join the "Development of Mind Prompting Agent Technology Linked to Brainwaves" project, promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP), and led by the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). The project aims to build a video creation AI agent based on mind prompting technology, which directly interprets human creative intentions from brainwave signals. The system generates 2K-resolution images and videos based on collected brainwave information, and progressively refines and edits the output through a multi-turn method that reflects the context of continuous dialogue.
Currently, video production using generative AI relies on text prompts, resulting in information loss when converting creators' intentions into text, and requiring repeated modifications. To overcome this limitation, the consortium will build a large-scale brainwave dataset and develop Brain-to-Vector technology to convert brainwave signals into numerical data understandable by AI. The goal is to instantly reproduce images conceived by directors as storyboard-style videos without text input.
Dexter will lead the empirical work of directly applying the developed mind prompting technology to pre-visualization (Previs) stages of films and TV dramas, as well as commercial content production processes, to verify technical completeness and establish commercialization guidelines.
Song Jae-won, Head of Dexter's R&D Institute, stated that introducing a creative interface using brainwaves can significantly reduce the time and resources required for content production, and will pioneer next-generation equipment and production environments in the commercial content production market.
