en.Wedoany.com Reported - Poseidon has announced the inclusion of new Air and Oxygen product lines into its Life Support System (LSS) platform, expanding its technology offerings for the salmon farming industry. The equipment has arrived in Chile and is currently undergoing startup preparations, strengthening a comprehensive solution that combines aeration, oxygenation, automation, and operational support to assist farming enterprises throughout the entire production cycle.

The addition of these product lines represents a strategic step in the company's process of enhancing its technical capabilities and expanding the solutions available to customers in Chile. With operations also in Canada, Norway, and Scotland, Poseidon's continuously developed value proposition aims to address the increasingly complex challenges of the salmon farming industry.
As part of this development, the company is also strengthening its digital capabilities through the Sentinel platform. This platform enables individual monitoring, automation, and customization of aeration and oxygenation systems for each net pen. Mauricio Cerda, Commercial Manager of Poseidon Chile, explained that this tool allows for more efficient resource management, optimizes system performance, and adjusts operations to the specific needs of each farm and net pen, thereby helping to reduce fuel consumption.
The company's technology portfolio also includes the DCP (Depth Charge Plume), an efficient diffusion solution widely adopted by the Chilean salmon farming industry. Currently, over 400 DCP units are in operation at farming centers nationwide, and the company expects this number to exceed 600 by the end of 2026, indicating the growing adoption of technologies aimed at improving operational efficiency and farming conditions.
Alongside the introduction of new technologies, Poseidon reaffirms its commitment to operational continuity and long-term customer support. The company maintains active field operations, service teams, and technical support, working closely with farming enterprises across Chile to develop solutions tailored to the specific needs of each operation.
Carlos Antiman, General Manager of Poseidon Chile, stated that this new product line is a significant milestone in the company's growth strategy and its goal of strengthening the supply of life support systems. He thanked customers for their trust in Poseidon and the collaborative relationships established, noting that this close connection enables the company to continuously develop, incorporate new capabilities, and provide solutions increasingly aligned with the challenges of Chilean salmon farming.
