The event highlighted Saudi Arabia's achievement of first place in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa region in the "AI FOR WOMEN" project. In this project, the number of female trainees in Saudi Arabia exceeded 16,000, more than double that of the second-place country. This achievement helped Saudi Arabia increase the number of three-year advanced training scholarship slots from 10 to 21 to reward outstanding women.

The event also showcased the results of an AI training program for non-specialist teachers. Implemented by Microsoft in collaboration with King Abdulaziz University and with strategic support from the Ministry, the program benefited over 1,500 teachers from more than 10 universities, aiming to integrate artificial intelligence concepts into various academic disciplines.

The event recognized 26 participants and institutions, including 7 award winners, 16 teachers, and 5 partners, acknowledging their contributions to spreading AI culture, developing related skills, and promoting the adoption of smart technologies in education and the community.

Microsoft announced plans to open an innovation center in Riyadh by the end of 2026. Additionally, Microsoft will collaborate with the Ministry to host an Agentic AI Hackathon and a Fintech Hackathon to support talents and entrepreneurs in developing innovative solutions with practical applications.

Event partners included the education system, Tech Saudi Advocates, Rawaq, and educational partner Fodrez. This collaboration reflects the coordinated efforts of national and international entities in jointly building a society better adapted to the era of artificial intelligence.
