en.Wedoany.com Reported - ESNET System, a South Korean AI infrastructure specialist, recently announced its participation in the construction of an AI Data Center (AIDC) demonstration center, building an industrial network infrastructure for its equipment operations.

With the widespread adoption of GPU-based high-performance computing in AIDCs, power demand has significantly increased. Beyond servers, the importance of infrastructure controlling power, cooling, and building equipment is growing, and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), which monitors data from various systems to improve efficiency, is also gaining attention.
The facility built this time is an AIDC demonstration center operated by Onion Software, simulating major equipment environments and showcasing technologies. ESNET System was responsible for connecting previously dispersed core equipment such as power management (EPMS), cooling (CPS), and building control (BMS) to a unified industrial network, completing the design and implementation.
Using Cisco industrial switches, the company stabilized the communication environment between devices and laid the foundation for unified monitoring of overall equipment through DCIM. Through Cisco Cyber Vision technology, visibility of device assets and communication status was achieved.
ESNET System particularly applied a power communication architecture based on the international standard "IEC 61850," integrating power equipment and IT networks into a unified infrastructure to ensure the stability and operational efficiency required by AIDCs.
Park Dong-chan, Managing Director of ESNET System's AIoT Division, stated that the AIDC market has shifted to a competitive landscape of integrated infrastructure covering power, cooling, and operations, and the company will strengthen its AI infrastructure business competitiveness based on accumulated experience.
