en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released the list of typical cases for the development of industries empowered by the Internet of Things (IoT) in 2025, identifying a total of 82 projects covering four major areas: industry application, social governance, consumer livelihood, and integration with new industries.

This case collection process involved recommendations from various units, formal review, expert evaluation, and online public announcement, ultimately finalizing a list of 82 typical projects. The list is divided into four major areas: 59 projects in industry application (manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, energy, construction), 13 projects in social governance (smart transportation, urban management, green environmental protection), 5 projects in consumer livelihood (intelligent connected vehicles, smart homes, smart cultural tourism, smart health), and 5 projects in integration with new industries (emerging industries, future industries).

The industry application area (59 projects) is the segment with the highest number of selected projects. Among them, manufacturing (26 projects) includes cases such as: Handan Midea Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd.'s AI-driven full-value chain collaborative operation practice based on IoT; Jiangxi Copper Corporation Limited's digital mine integrated management and control platform application; Xuzhou Han Cloud Technology Co., Ltd.'s industrial IoT-empowered leading factory construction practice in the engineering machinery industry; and SANY Group Co., Ltd.'s IoT perception and intelligent decision-making system application for large-scale discrete manufacturing. Agriculture (7 projects) involves smart chicken farming, agricultural and forestry pest monitoring, etc., with applicants including Mashang Consumer Finance Co., Ltd., Henan Heyifeng Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., etc. Logistics (5 projects) focuses on intelligent pharmaceutical warehousing and smart operation of coal ports, with cases from Jointown Pharmaceutical Group Logistics Co., Ltd., CHN Energy (Tianjin) Port Co., Ltd., etc. Energy (15 projects) covers smart power generation, oil and gas pipeline network coordination, virtual power plant construction, etc., with applicants including China Oil & Gas Pipeline Network Corporation, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd., Teld New Energy Co., Ltd., etc. Construction (6 projects) involves transmission line construction safety, intelligent construction platforms, etc., with cases from Beijing Smartchip Microelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., CISDI Information Technology (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., etc.

In the social governance area (13 projects), smart transportation (3 projects) includes Chongqing Shouxun Technology Co., Ltd.'s air-space-ground data perception system, etc.; urban management (7 projects) involves bridge monitoring, waste management, etc., with applicants including JSTI Group Co., Ltd., Fulongma Group Co., Ltd., etc.; green environmental protection (3 projects) includes Hefei Zhongke Guangbo Quantum Technology Co., Ltd.'s atmospheric environment monitoring practice, etc. The consumer livelihood area (5 projects) covers directions such as intelligent connected vehicles, smart homes, smart cultural tourism, and smart health. The integration with new industries area (5 projects) includes China Unicom (Liaoning) Industrial Internet Co., Ltd.'s smart port project, Hebei Jiuzhi Technology Co., Ltd.'s practice of high-value utilization of organic solid waste through biological manufacturing, etc.
