Traditional underground auxiliary transport has long relied on small winches and endless rope winches, involving multiple transport stages, low efficiency, and safety hazards such as derailment and rope breakage. Relevant Chinese authorities have issued special policies requiring a "trackless, ropeless, and intelligent" direction to achieve "one-stop" direct auxiliary transport. As a pilot mine, Shaqu No. 2 Mine took the lead in introducing equipment such as mine explosion-proof crawler-type support carriers.
