en.Wedoany.com Reported - Australian mining company Predictive Discovery Limited (ASX:PDI, TSX:PDI) recently released its production figures for the three months ending June 30, 2026. At the Kiniero Gold Mine in Guinea, the plant's average throughput during the quarter was 1,113 tonnes per hour (approximately 9.0 million tonnes per year), exceeding the nameplate capacity of 6.0 million tonnes per year, with gold recovery rates improving to 90.5%.

Mining operations at the Kiniero Gold Mine continued to perform strongly, supporting sustained mill throughput above nameplate capacity. The Kiniero mill processed 2.2 million tonnes of ore at an average grade of 0.86 grams per tonne of gold, producing 54,252 ounces of gold. The Nampala mill processed 450,000 tonnes of ore at an average grade of 0.71 grams per tonne of gold, producing 9,774 ounces of gold. Combined production from the two gold mines totaled 64,026 ounces of gold. As of June 30, 2026, cash and gold bullion amounted to A$530 million (US$365 million), based on an exchange rate of 0.689 Australian dollars to the US dollar on that date, with gold bullion valued at a spot price of US$4,026 per ounce. The cash balance includes US$80 million in restricted cash. One-off costs incurred during the quarter included US$36 million in merger and acquisition-related expenses and US$9 million in royalty buyback costs. All figures above are unaudited. PDI will release its June 2026 quarterly report later this month, providing a comprehensive update on activities.
