The plant entered commercial operation in February 2026 and is expected to generate approximately 87 GWh of green electricity annually, enough to supply around 25,000 households. As an agri-PV project, it combines solar power generation with continued agricultural use of the land. A long-term power purchase agreement provides the project with contracted revenue and stable cash flows.

Ingmar Helmke, CEO of Tion Renewables, stated that Tion represents attractive returns, operational excellence, and profitable growth, and that this acquisition is a perfect addition to the company's operational portfolio—a high-quality asset developed and built by highly skilled business partners with long-term secured revenue. He also thanked EQT Active Core European Infrastructure for its continued support and FEFA for its excellent and professional cooperation.

Manuel Sieth, Chief Investment Officer and CFO of Tion Renewables, said they have taken over a well-developed and well-operated agri-PV plant, and sincerely thanked Fabian Schwarzlose and the entire FEFA team for the smooth and professional process, looking forward to continued collaboration.

Fabian Schwarzlose, Managing Director of FEFA Projekt GmbH, noted that as a family-owned company, they developed the plant from the initial idea to full operation, making it important to find the right owner. He believes Tion convinced them with deep market expertise and fast, pragmatic decision-making, and that the plant is in good hands.

Tion Renewables operates an 887 MW portfolio of renewable energy assets in selected core European markets and is a digitally enabled independent power producer (IPP). Supported by its shareholder EQT Group, the company invests in, builds, operates, and continuously optimizes solar PV and onshore wind projects, as well as battery energy storage systems. Through long-term PPAs and guaranteed feed-in tariffs, Tion generates predictable revenue and stable cash flows. Based on flexibility and trust, Tion builds long-term partnerships with other industry leaders, with headquarters in Munich and offices in Frankfurt am Main, Madrid, and Warsaw. Tion Renewables drives the energy transition.
