Rotortrade Signs MRO Cooperation Agreement with Kenya's Helint

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Rotortrade has signed a cooperation agreement with Helicopters International Ltd (Helint) to enhance support capabilities for helicopter operators in East Africa through localized maintenance, repair, and overhaul services. Helint is an established helicopter maintenance and support provider based in Nairobi.

Helint holds multiple Part 145 maintenance approvals in East Africa and Central Africa, with other certifications in progress. The company provides scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance for a wide range of operating platforms, including the MD500 series, Airbus Helicopters H125 series, Leonardo AW119, AW109, and AW139, as well as Bell and Agusta-Bell 212 and 412 helicopters. Helint is also a certified service center and maintenance provider for Pratt & Whitney Canada engines and Honeywell.

Through this partnership, Rotortrade aims to further strengthen its support capabilities in leasing and sales activities by leveraging convenient local maintenance capabilities. This initiative complements Rotortrade's existing global MRO facilities, offering customers proximity, responsiveness, and operational continuity.

Aurélien Blanc, Executive Vice President of Rotortrade for Asia Pacific/Middle East and Africa, stated that East Africa remains an important and growing market for helicopter operators, and as global support infrastructure expands, close collaboration with experienced regional organizations is crucial.
