en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 11, the "Xinmaohai" vessel, loaded with containers of industrial salt for Guizhou Jiangshan Crop Technology Co., Ltd., departed from Qinzhou Port Area of Beibu Gulf Port, marking the opening of a north-south two-way logistics link for the billion-yuan phosphorus chemical industrial park in Weng'an, Guizhou. This further enriches the bulk chemical logistics product matrix of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor.

The Jiangshan-Wengfu Industrial Park, located within the billion-yuan phosphorus chemical industrial park in Weng'an, Guizhou, is the largest phosphorus chemical project under construction in the province, with a total investment of approximately 22 billion yuan, covering an area of 6,000 mu. Its core enterprise is Guizhou Jiangshan Crop Technology Co., Ltd.

To ensure smooth logistics, the Southwest Working Group of Beibu Gulf Port customized a "Weng'an—Beibu Gulf Port—Yingkou" rail-sea intermodal route for the park. Goods depart from Weng'an Station in Guizhou via a dedicated railway container train, traveling south along the New Western Land-Sea Corridor to Beibu Gulf Port, then north by sea to Yingkou Port in Liaoning. Beibu Gulf Container Company coordinated with multiple entities, including railways, shipping companies, and third-party logistics providers, to optimize the entire process of empty container allocation, trunk line trains, port handling, and maritime trunk line connections, creating a dedicated logistics route with optimal timeliness and cost. The terminal is equipped with storage and handling facilities for chemical containers, enabling 24-hour uninterrupted operations for containers carrying chemical products such as industrial salt, glyphosate, and flame retardants, thereby reducing overall cargo transit time.

The opening of this dedicated route fills the gap in low-cost rail-sea intermodal transport from the Weng'an area in Guizhou to northern coastal ports, opening a new channel for the north-south circulation of bulk goods in the southwestern phosphorus chemical industry. Going forward, Beibu Gulf Port will leverage the New Western Land-Sea Corridor to continuously develop a differentiated logistics service system for multimodal transport, deepen strategic cooperation with industrial and mining enterprises in the southwest, shift from serving individual transactions to safeguarding the entire industrial chain, facilitate efficient connectivity between the southwestern hinterland and northern coastal areas, and provide sustained momentum for the high-quality development of the regional real economy.
