China Chengtong Mining's Annual 200,000-Ton Lithium Salt Project Phase I Commences Production

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 13, China Chengtong Mining (000688.SZ) announced that the Phase I project of the lithium salt project invested by its subsidiary, Sichuan Chengtong Lithium Co., Ltd., in the Deyang-Aba Ecological Economic Zone has officially commenced production. The project plans an annual output of 200,000 tons of lithium salt, with Phase I's annual 60,000-ton battery-grade lithium carbonate production line having completed preliminary commissioning and trial operations, achieving stable product quality. Relevant details of this investment were previously disclosed on July 1, 2023, on the CNINFO website in the "Announcement on the Investment and Construction of a Basic Lithium Salt Project" (Announcement No.: 2023-049).

As of the disclosure date, the production line has officially commenced operations. Within the mining and exploration rights scope of the company's key subsidiary, Maerkang Jinxin Mining Co., Ltd., the retained lithium ore resource volume totaled 84.129 million tons as of December 31, 2025, including 1,118,369 tons of Li2O resources with an average grade of 1.33%. Following the project's launch, the company will leverage the stable ore supply advantage of Jinxin Mining's lithium mine to accelerate capacity ramp-up. As capacity continues to be released, the company's lithium salt product structure will be further optimized, product added value will be effectively enhanced, and its core competitive advantages in the industry will be continuously consolidated and strengthened.
