en.Wedoany.com Reported - China Mobile, in collaboration with ZTE, has recently deployed 5G-A network differentiated service technologies on a large scale in multiple provinces including Guangdong, Henan, Fujian, and Shandong. Leveraging a "4+3" innovative assurance solution and wireless AI capabilities, this technology provides customized network services for different users and applications. Practical applications show that this solution significantly enhances user experience in complex, high-mobility, and high-capacity scenarios such as high-speed railways, scenic spots, and sports venues, marking the evolution of 5G-A networks towards a new stage of intelligent services.

This differentiated service adopts the "4+3" innovative solution, which utilizes four types of user and service identifiers—5QI, slice ID, RFSP, and ARP—combined with three wireless assurance technologies: dynamic resource reservation, priority scheduling, and pre-scheduling. It is deeply integrated with the intelligent capabilities of the wireless AI computing board. In a pilot project by Guangdong Mobile and ZTE, the focus was on four typical scenarios: commercial areas, universities, high-speed railways, and subways, targeting high-frequency services such as short videos, web browsing, gaming, and video conferencing. Key technical applications included dedicated network slices and the wireless AI computing board. In high-speed mobility scenarios like high-speed railways and subways, dedicated slices improved uplink speeds by 5% to 14%, downlink speeds by up to 23%, and significantly reduced lag rates for gaming and video conferencing. The wireless AI computing board solution increased multi-scenario service speeds by 32% and reduced latency by approximately 30% in high-speed railway scenarios.

At the "Wansui Mountain · Great Song Martial Arts City" scenic spot in Kaifeng, Henan, Henan Mobile and ZTE implemented 5G-A differentiated service capabilities in high-load scenarios. With tens of thousands of users accessing the network simultaneously, the 5G-A network combined with the wireless AI computing board doubled uplink live streaming speeds, increased instant messaging speeds by over 50%, reduced latency by 27%, and doubled short and long video speeds. For emerging terminals like AI glasses, dedicated slice technology ensured service stability, achieving a speed gain of 10%. Additionally, the deployment validated the network's maximum service capacity estimation function, with a deviation of less than 10% between estimated results and actual user experience.

During the Fujian "Min Super" League, Fujian Mobile and ZTE launched a "5G-A Scenario Speed Boost Package," enabling customizable seat arrangements and displaying personalized fan logos, with over 800 packages distributed. Network data from the Pingtan event on May 30 showed that users of the 5G-A Scenario Speed Boost Package experienced a 96% gain in web browsing downlink speeds, a 56% gain in live streaming uplink speeds, and a 49% gain in WeChat image upload uplink speeds. The entire network service remained stable throughout the event.

Shandong Mobile and ZTE completed the application of 5G-A wireless AI computing board differentiated service technology on the Jinan West to Changqing section of the Ji-Zheng High-Speed Railway and at multiple venues of the Lu Super League. In high-speed railway scenarios, average speeds for office uplink, short video downlink, and live streaming uplink improved by 10% to 33% compared to traditional solutions, while average latency for online games decreased by 29% to 32%. At the "Lu Super" event on May 30, facing the extreme network challenge of nearly 15,000 fans, technologies such as 5G-A simplified networking and the wireless AI computing board achieved zero faults and zero complaints in high-density communication.

This large-scale multi-province deployment has comprehensively validated the assurance effectiveness of the network's "4+3" differentiated service technology and wireless AI computing board capabilities in commercial scenarios. It has not only significantly improved the network experience for key user groups such as high-speed railway passengers, event spectators, university students, and subway commuters but also effectively addressed network service challenges posed by emerging services like AI terminals. China Mobile stated that it will continue to collaborate with ZTE to promote the standardization and large-scale implementation of network differentiated service technologies, providing deterministic network capabilities for key users and services.
