en.Wedoany.com Reported - In the first half of 2026, the total value of machinery and equipment obtained by Kazakh farmers through leasing approached 2510 billion tenge, twice the amount in the same period last year. This data was released by KazAgroFinance JSC (АО «КазАгроФинанс», KAF).

By financing application volume, the three main grain-producing regions led: North Kazakhstan Region at 53.6 billion tenge, Kostanay Region at 44.3 billion tenge, and Akmola Region at 40.1 billion tenge.

Among the leased equipment, 6,381 units with a total value of 209.1 billion tenge were obtained through a preferential leasing program with an annual interest rate of 5%. Additionally, 1,189 units worth 34.6 billion tenge were leased under the "Agricultural Leasing" program (annual interest rate 12.6%); 146 units worth 4.4 billion tenge under the "Made in Kazakhstan" program (annual interest rate 6%); 51 units worth 2.4 billion tenge under the "Preferential Leasing 6%" program; and 2 units worth 16.2 million tenge under the "Own Feed" program (annual interest rate 6%).

Within six months, a total of 3,931 agricultural producers utilized KAF's services.

According to the company, since the beginning of the year, applications for nearly 9,000 units of equipment worth 311.5 billion tenge have been received. Additionally, 859 units (worth 35.9 billion tenge) have been approved and are awaiting contract signing, while applications worth 25 billion tenge are under review.
