Norway's DOF Group Secures Four-Year Ultra-Large Offshore Contract Worth $100-200 Million

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF Group ASA announced on July 13, 2026, that it has received a letter of award for a four-year ultra-large contract valued between $100 million and $200 million. The company will deploy the 2009-built Skandi Hera to execute the contract, with operations expected to commence between late 2026 and early 2027. The contract also includes remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services.

The award is subject to partner approval, with conditions expected to be lifted in the third quarter of 2026. DOF stated that the contract will also include ROV services, further strengthening its comprehensive service capabilities in the offshore support sector.

Prior to this contract announcement, DOF began preparations in February 2026 for an offshore project in Argentina, planning to deploy Skandi Hera and the 2000-built Skandi Patagonia for a combined operational period exceeding 250 days, executed in two phases during the second quarter and the third to fourth quarters of 2026, respectively.

The Skandi Hera is based on the Ulstein A122 design, with an overall length of 93.8 meters, capable of performing offshore installation operations under various water depths and sea conditions. Headquartered in Bergen, Norway, DOF Group provides global offshore and subsea engineering services, covering the oil and gas industry as well as the renewable energy sector.
