en.Wedoany.com Reported - WeDoAny News, the continuous expansion of global demand for computing power, data centers, and terminal equipment has driven the growth of China's electrical equipment exports. Overseas markets have seen a significant increase in demand for power equipment such as transformers and prefabricated substations. Currently, China's highest voltage level exported prefabricated substation has successfully delivered power in Oman. The project is assembled from 24 standardized functional modules, all designed, produced, assembled, and system-commissioned in China.
This 400 kV prefabricated substation consists of four integrated prefabricated cabins with independent functions and coordinated systems. After the modules arrived in Oman, they were assembled and connected like building blocks. Compared to the extensive civil engineering and commissioning required for traditional substation construction, this prefabricated module approach significantly shortens construction time.
According to Ji Guanghui, Vice President of Qingdao TGOOD Electric Co., Ltd. in Shandong, "The Oman project is a prefabricated substation with the highest voltage level and the most comprehensive system integration solution for export. The construction period for a traditional civil engineering substation is one and a half to two years, but this project took less than six months to complete the entire process from order receipt, production, sea freight, on-site installation and commissioning, to power delivery."
The company revealed that overseas delivery projects in the first half of this year increased by 30% year-on-year. The market growth mainly comes from two aspects: the construction of data centers and computing power centers has significantly increased demand for power equipment such as transformers and prefabricated substations; and proactively building regional standards and promoting international mutual recognition, with "technology going global" expanding competitive advantages from the source.
Xu Guochuan, Assistant General Manager of the International Base of Qingdao TGOOD Electric Co., Ltd. in Shandong, introduced, "Previously, the cycle for adapting entire products to overseas standards took one or two years. Now, relying on standard interoperability and differentiated supplementation models, we can reduce the time to within three months, saving tens of millions of yuan in costs annually."
In the first half of this year, the export value of electrical equipment from Shandong Province reached 26.73 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%, of which the export value of substations and transformer products exceeded 7 billion yuan.According to Liu Shuxia, Head of the Enterprise Credit Management Section of Qingdao Dagang Customs, these electrical products are mainly sold to the EU, the Middle East, Africa, South Korea, and other countries and regions, with particularly prominent export growth rates to the EU and Africa. The export volume of high-voltage large-capacity substation equipment and prefabricated substations continues to rise, becoming a new growth engine for foreign trade.
