en.Wedoany.com Reported - RusHydro has launched new charging stations on the M-11 highway, providing fast and slow charging services for electric vehicles. The project is implemented in cooperation between RusHydro Charging Stations (АО «ЭЗС РусГидро», part of the RusHydro Group) and the Russian Highways State Company (ГК «Автодор»), with Rosseti Moscow Region (ПАО «Россети Московский регион») participating in connecting the facilities to the power grid.

The charging stations are based on units of varying power capacities, distributed along the M-11 "Neva" highway. There are 13 charging stations at the 63rd kilometer and 14 charging stations at the 75th kilometer. Fast charging uses high-speed equipment ranging from 150 to 210 kilowatts, while slow charging uses 22-kilowatt stations. One of the 210-kilowatt stations can provide fast charging for electric buses.

This infrastructure allows drivers to replenish their driving range during planned stops while using roadside service facilities along the route. An important advantage of the charging stations is that even in the event of a power outage, the 22-kilowatt stations can continue charging electric vehicles using backup power.

Charging management and payment are handled through the "RusHydro Charging Stations" mobile application; users without a smartphone can use a personal RFID card.
