en.Wedoany.com Reported - Australian gold exploration and development company PC Gold (ASX: PC2) announced on July 21, 2026, that its flagship Spring Hill Gold Project in the Northern Territory has updated its Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), showing total resources increased by 84% to 43.6 million tonnes at a gold grade of 1.10 g/t, containing 1.51 million ounces of gold. The updated resource estimate is based on 25,900 meters of infill drilling completed between October 2025 and April 2026. Indicated resources increased by 136% to 28.8 million tonnes at a gold grade of 1.10 g/t, containing 1.0 million ounces of gold, accounting for 66% of the total global resource.

PC Gold is a mining company focused on gold exploration and development in Australia, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2022. Its flagship asset, the Spring Hill Gold Project in the Northern Territory, is one of the region's significant emerging gold projects. Executive Chairman Ashley Pattison stated that since listing, global resources have grown by an average of 77,000 ounces per month, with Indicated resources now accounting for 66%, laying a solid foundation for the project's subsequent development.

This updated resource estimate includes, for the first time, resources from the Link Zone mineralized domain, which totals 1.12 million tonnes at a gold grade of 5.37 g/t, containing 193,500 ounces of gold, of which Indicated resources are 690,000 tonnes at a gold grade of 5.16 g/t, containing 114,500 ounces. Pattison noted that the newly discovered Link Zone has the potential to provide a second high-grade underground feed source, which could operate synergistically with the planned open pit. This zone will be included in the subsequent pre-feasibility study assessment.

In terms of mineralization continuity, the Spring Hill Project contains an average of 2,594 ounces of Indicated resources per vertical meter within the first 365 meters of depth. Currently, the resource estimate covers less than 15% of the known geological strike length, and mineralization remains open along both strike and depth. Several high-grade intercepts from drilling conducted after the resource estimate cut-off date (April 2026) have not yet been included, including 10 meters at 4.51 g/t gold from 161 meters in the Main Zone South drill hole, 113 meters at 1.14 g/t gold from surface (including 18 meters at 4.62 g/t gold) in the Hong Kong drill hole, and 22 meters at 2.60 g/t gold from 164 meters in the Hong Kong Footwall drill hole.

PC Gold is currently undertaking a 40,000-meter reverse circulation and diamond drilling program, expected to deliver both the pre-feasibility study and the next resource estimate update by the end of the fourth quarter of 2026. This significant resource increase provides the Spring Hill Project with a more robust resource base as it moves toward the pre-feasibility study stage. The discovery of high-grade mineralization in the Link Zone offers a potential underground mining option, which could create synergies with the open-pit mining plan. With the ongoing 40,000-meter drilling program, the project's resource base still has potential for further growth.
