en.Wedoany.com Reported - Switzerland-based Recycling Powerhouse, founded in July this year, plans to produce certified high-quality recycled yarn through a franchise model. The first operational project is expected to launch in Qatar in early 2027, in partnership with Suhail Industrial Group.

The plant will serve as a demonstration benchmark, showcasing the commercial viability of industrial-scale textile recycling and contributing to circular economy goals. Suhail Industrial Holding Group is already planning new plants in multiple other markets, aiming to become a global leader in textile recycling.

Recycling Powerhouse acts as an integrator across the entire value chain of textile recycling, providing standardized recycling concepts, technologies, operational processes, digital solutions, auditing services, and technical support to global franchise partners.

Under this collaboration framework, Valvan supplies textile sorting equipment and expertise, including AI-based Fibersort sorting technology and the Trimclean system for preparing rags for the opening process; Rieter contributes experience in short-fiber opening and spinning. Stefan Hutter, owner of Swiss textile engineering company Säntis Textiles, revealed that Säntis Textiles will "integrate all knowledge related to Rieter system technology to create a powerful yarn brand with the potential to truly transform the textile recycling landscape."

Noel Norking, General Manager of Recycling Powerhouse, stated: "Our mission is to make textile recycling simple, scalable, and investor-friendly, enabling investors to turn the massive changes in the textile industry into significant opportunities while helping to address the growing global textile waste problem."

Thomas Oetterli, CEO of Rieter Group, commented: "By combining cutting-edge spinning technology, decades of recycling experience, and advanced traceability solutions, this initiative builds a strategic platform capable of generating new growth opportunities in areas such as machinery sales, engineering services, recycling technology, and the recycled yarn market."
